2007 started on a sad note. Our long-time guide and very dear friend Howie Prosser passed away in January. He is greatly missed. A small group of family and friends spread his ashes at his favourite spot in the mountains.
Hunting season was tough this year. Unseasonably warm weather and extremely wet conditions, combined with lots of mushrooms and wolves, all played a part in keeping the moose in the timber. Kill rate was right at 70% with 88% opportunity.
Caribou hunting, on the other hand was excellent this year: 100% once again.
